Yalta is Ukraine's most popular resort that is famous around the world. This is a Ukraine center for the vacations, that stretches along the sea for more than 70 km - from Gurzuf to Foros.
The city is located on the shores of the open sea from the bay, filling a vast amphitheater, which is covered by mountains. In the afternoon the refreshing sea breeze fills the air, and at night down at the coast, direct light mountain winds. Another useful feature of the Crimean resorts is moderate humidity: 56-64% in summer, whereas, for example, in Sochi - 70-75%. In Yalta precipitation falls mainly in late autumn and winter. The swimming season begins in early June - somewhat later than in Feodosia Crimea, where the coastal strip and a shallow water warms faster. But at Yalta, it lasts longer - until October. Especially good are the autumn days when the sea is still warm and the sun is not as relentlessly hot.
